Russ Jones Snooker Coaching
I am a qualified 'Advanced IBSF' and 'World Snooker Coach' based in North Wales offering professional snooker coaching to clients of all ages and abilities.
I offer lessons for individual players, groups, teams and clubs. All enquiries welcome.
I trained as a World Snooker Coach at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield and my instructors throughout were former World Champions Steve Davies OBE and Terry Griffiths OBE along with World Snookers head coach Chris Lovell.
The training I received covered all aspects of the game and is continually reviewed and updated to ensure that I am always aware of the latest techniques and guidelines which I apply to each student I coach.
For my IBSF training I had one to one tuition from the very highly regarded Nic Barrow who is leading expert on the technique, science and psychology of snooker.
I first became interested in snooker at the age of 11 and attended a Sunday morning club. The advice and training offered was limited and I found the game both difficult and frustrating and eventually I stopped playing.
Some years later I started playing once again and joined a local team and through the advice of members and continual practice I developed a real passion and enjoyment of the game.
Now as a professionally trained World Snooker Coach I use my experience in a positive way to ensure that as you work through your training programme you will not only notice an improvement in your snooker, but you will also feel far more confident when playing and your enjoyment and understanding of the game will increase.
World Snookers objective is to increase the number of people enjoying the snooker. Through your development and enjoyment of snooker we will be "Growing The Game".
